| This specialized English program is designed for workers in the retail industry. To enroll in this class, students must have a minimum Intermediate 1 English level. Students will learn vocabulary related to the retail industry and learn the required language needed to serve English speaking customers in the various job positions of a retail store. Lessons will focus on listening and speaking, pronunciation, and utilizing proper grammar in various functional retail situations. At the end of the course, students will be able to be more actively engaged with the English speaking public in a retail store setting. Students will gain confidence as they learn to speak clearly, listen actively, and respond appropriately. |
